The Ceylon Petroleum Private Tanker Owners’ Association says that due to the QR system introduced by the government for the fuel crisis, fuel sales have dropped by 60%.
In a press conference held today (23), the joint secretary of the union, Mr. Shanta Silva, stated that under this situation, tanker owners and filling station owners are in dire straits.
