Acting Defense Minister Pramitha Bandara Tennakoon says that the police should be notified and approved 6 hours before the protests.
Attending a news conference currently being held at the Government Information Department, he emphasized that there is no obstacle to peaceful protests.
The Acting Defense Minister further said that the High Security Zones were designated to ensure national security.
