The Colombo Magistrate’s Court issued an order yesterday (28) to evict the former Health Minister Professor Channa Jayasumana from the said official residence, who is said to have been forcibly staying in the government residence. Sri Lanka Latest News
The Magistrate issued this order while considering a case filed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration had asked the Magistrate’s Court to order the accused to remain in the official residence even after leaving the post of minister and to impose an order for him to leave.
After confirming the facts related to the case before the court, the court issued the order to expel the minister from his official residence.
