President Ranil Wickremesinghe met with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Tokyo on Tuesday (27). He stated implementing the Free Trade Agreement with Singapore was his top priority.
President Wickremesinghe told the Singaporean PM that he was opening a foreign commerce office in his office.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong praised the announcement and said Singapore would invest in Sri Lanka again.
President Wickremesinghe invited the Singaporean PM to Sri Lanka’s 75th Independence Anniversary next year.
