President to attend Queens Funeral, signs condolence book at High Commission (PHOTOS)

President to attend Queens Funeral . According to the Presidential Media Division, President Ranil Wickremesinghe will attend the funeral of late Queen Elizabeth II in the United Kingdom.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe expressed his condolences on Queen Elizabeth II’s death.

President Ranil Wickramasinghe met British High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Sarah Hulton upon his arrival at the British High Commission and expressed his condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The British High Commissioner greeted President Ranil Wickramasinghe. The President wrote a condolence note in the special book of condolences kept at the British High Commission, thanking her for her many years of service to people all over the world.

The president will attend Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, which will be held on September 19 at Westminster Abbey in London.
