President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that from now on they should refrain from submitting cabinet papers asking for money, and that it is enough to notify him as the Minister of Finance.
The President mentioned this in a discussion held with Ministry Secretaries and Provincial Secretaries.
The President said that presenting cabinet papers is a waste of time and said that henceforth, decisions should be taken together and decisions should be implemented.
