The President made this comment while participating in an event held to mark the 32nd anniversary of the political career of Agriculture Minister Mahinda Amaraweera.
Many political analysts are of the opinion that Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe will not contest the upcoming presidential election with this statement of the President.
