President Plans Visit to China in January, With Preparations Underway During India Trip
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

The President has already made plans for his next trip, even before departing for his visit to India. He is scheduled to visit China in January.

Preparations for this upcoming visit to China are already underway, with significant efforts being made during the ongoing India visit.

A key figure behind the scenes in organizing this visit is the Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Mr. Qi Shen Hong. Having served in Sri Lanka for several years, Mr. Shen Hong is highly knowledgeable about the country’s internal challenges and the broader international issues affecting it.

The Ambassador is also well-versed in the tensions created by India and the United States with China, particularly concerning Sri Lanka. In light of the President’s upcoming visit, China has been extending special privileges to Sri Lanka in recent weeks, largely due to the proactive involvement of Ambassador Shen Hong.
