President Ranil Wickremesinghe met with Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres on the sidelines of the COP27 Climate Change Conference.
According to the President’s Media Division, President Wickremesinghe briefed Guterres on Sri Lanka’s plans on the National Environment Policy.
President Wickremesinghe left for Egypt on Sunday (06) morning to attend COP 27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. He is also set to address the summit.
