President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated that the previous government had compromised the entire passport importation process to serve the interests of certain commissions.
Speaking on the “Sirasa Battle” discussion program, the President expressed that, in prioritizing business activities, they had jeopardized the safety of both the nation and its people.
He further noted that an investigation has been launched into this passport-related incident.
