President Ranil Wickremesinghe has stated that discussions must be held this week between the Speaker of the Parliament and the Chief Justice to address and resolve issues surrounding the post of the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
Furthermore, the Head of the State expressed that he will ensure that the Election Commission will hold Presidential Poll on September 21.
He said this while addressing the “Jayagamu Sri Lanka” public rally held at the Homagama bus station premises.
