At the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will embark on an official visit to the UAE from today (10th) to the 13th to participate in the 2025 World Government Summit.
During his visit, President Dissanayake is scheduled to deliver an address at the summit in Dubai and engage in high-level bilateral discussions with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on key areas of mutual interest. Additionally, he will meet with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE.
The President will also hold bilateral talks with leaders of several participating nations at the summit. Furthermore, he is set to engage with top executives from leading global corporations across sectors such as information technology, artificial intelligence, energy, tourism, finance, and media, with the aim of attracting vital investments to Sri Lanka.
President Dissanayake’s visit is expected to further strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Sri Lanka and the UAE.
