President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is expected to undertake a three-day official visit to the Maldives during the last week of July, marking his sixth foreign visit since assuming office, the Sunday Times reported.
The visit is scheduled to coincide with the commemoration of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and the Maldives on July 29, and comes shortly after the Maldives’ Independence Day celebrations on July 26.
Despite these developments, the Presidential Secretariat has not yet issued an official confirmation or released any details regarding the President’s agenda for the visit.
