President Anura Kumara Dissanayake returned to Sri Lanka last night (17), concluding a productive three-day official visit to India.
He arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake from New Delhi aboard a SriLankan Airlines flight.
This visit, which began on December 15, marked the President’s first foreign tour since assuming office.
During his stay in India, President Dissanayake engaged in high-level discussions with Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and several senior officials.
The delegation accompanying the President included Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath, Labour Minister Professor Anil Jayantha Fernando, and other dignitaries.
