The chairman of Beliatta Pradeshiy Saba and his elder brother have been arrested by the police.
The Beliatta police have arrested the two in connection with a fraud involving 11 GI pipes brought for a project.
Accordingly, 58-year-old Cyril Munasinghe, the chairman of the Beliatta Pradeshiya saba, and his 67-year-old brother, Piyadasa Munasinghe, have been arrested in connection with this incident.
