The police have issued a warning urging the public not to share One-Time Passwords (OTPs) provided by banks under any circumstances.
Police Media Spokesperson, Mr. Nihal Talduwa, highlighted this advisory while addressing the rising number of serious financial fraud cases reported nationwide.
He emphasized that individuals should never disclose their OTPs to anyone, as these codes are critical for securing financial transactions and preventing fraud.
