The Israeli international company Magnus Search and Rescue also was searching for her through local connections.

The 25-year-old Israeli woman who was missing in Sri Lanka, has been found, the Daily Mirror reported, citing police.

Tamar Amiti from Modi’in Maccabim Reut was last contacted about three days ago when she was in Trincomalee City.

Her belongings were left in the room she rented last Saturday at the Rolex Guest House in the city, where she was last seen on Thursday.

She left the room locked. The hostel notified the local police about the absence but did not have much information to share.

Few traces

In the hostel, they remembered her as the one who checked in alone and could not say what her plans were, apart from the fact that she paid for her stay in cash and was apparently supposed to leave only on Saturday.

She went on a trip at the beginning of June. The case was under investigation by local police. The Israeli international company Magnus Search and Rescue also began searching for her through local connections. So far, attempts to locate her have been futile.

“Magnus Search and Rescue received a call yesterday evening from the insurance company and the family of Tamar Amiti,” said Or Lev, CEO of MAGNUS.

“As soon as the incident came to us, we began tracing operations by our local contacts in Sri Lanka, tracing personnel in Israel, and the work of the operational and intelligence desk of Magnus.”
