Motorcycle teams consisting of 100 specially trained police officers to operate in parallel with the special task force motorcycle teams as per the instructions of the Inspector General of Police Deshbandu Tennakoon with the aim of suppressing underworld crimes centred on the western and southern provinces along with the justice operation.

These specially trained motorcycle teams are scheduled to travel from today to cover specially identified police domains in the Western and Southern Provinces and will be operational to track down criminals immediately and arrest them.
