Police Crack Down on Reckless Motorcycle Riders in Bambalapitiya – 20 Arrested for Dangerous Stunts on Busy Roads!

The police have arrested 20 people with their motorcycles who were engaged in reckless and dangerous riding of motorcycles for entertainment in Bambalapitiya Galle Road and Duplication Road areas. Sri Lanka Latest News

Police Media Spokesman DIG Attorney Nihal Talduwa said that the suspects will be brought to court.

The police had also received complaints from the people that they were driving motorcycles at high speed and even in the opposite direction in an unruly manner with a lot of noise on this one-way road.

Complaints have been received that these people drive motorcycles dangerously between the oncoming vehicles and drive only the rear wheel, causing danger to other drivers.

The officers of the Bambalapitiya Police Station, who acted accordingly, carried out this special raid in the early hours of yesterday (05).

Police Media Spokesman DIG Advocate Nihal Talduwa said that the law will be implemented strictly against this group.
