At the Pohottu Summit in Kelaniya, chaired by Namal Rajapaksa, Pohottu councillors expressed divergent views on the presidential candidate.
Mr. Prasanna Ranatunga argued that Pohottuwa should back a candidate with a strong chance of winning, while MP Thissakuttiarachi insisted that Pohottuwa should field its own candidate and that other candidates are unnecessary.
