People’s Leasing Group Launches Island-Wide Disaster Relief Initiative

People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC) and its subsidiaries, People’s Insurance PLC, People’s Micro-Commerce LTD (PML), have initiated an immediate, island-wide effort to assist communities severely impacted by the recent adverse weather, including floods and landslides.

Operating under the empowering theme, “Rising Stronger, Rebuilding Together,” this collaborative initiative is focused on identifying and compiling essential information on the individuals and families most affected across the nation. The People’s Leasing Group recognizes the urgent need for support in these challenging times and is collecting contact details of all affected parties to streamline the delivery of relief and recovery assistance.

This proactive outreach demonstrates the Group’s unwavering commitment to its social responsibility, ensuring that help reaches those who need it most as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives. Affected individuals and stakeholders are urged to use the dedicated contact lines provided below to register their details.

Furthermore, as another step in the operation launched for our own people affected by the disaster island-wide, our own group staff dedicated their labor, time, and resources for an entire week to help rebuild the damaged homes and property of our own affected staff. Members of the company’s senior management, including the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, also participated in this.

Furthermore, due to the disaster situation, the employees of our institution have also been directly affected, and company has implemented formal measures to ensure their welfare and safety. Members of the company’s senior management, including the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, are also working to overcome this difficult period together by fostering mutual cooperation through internal welfare programs initiated by the employees.
