Parliament called on Sunday! Banks closed for 5 days! The stock exchange is also closed! The government intends to administer a bitter pill to the people – GL I Sri Lanka Latest News

Joining the news conference of the Free People’s Assembly today (26), Prof. G. Mr. L. Peiris mentioned that the government is planning to deliver a shock to the people by closing the bank for five days. Sri Lanka Latest News 

He pointed out that the opposition is rallying to educate the people against the oppressive actions of the government, and that the ministers and officials of the government are deceiving the people with beautiful words.

Pointing out that domestic debt restructuring is not an IMF proposal, it was proposed by the Sri Lankan government, Mr. Peiris said that under a new government, the IMF will have to reconsider the adverse proposals.
