The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka is organizing bilateral trade & investment discussion between Sri Lanka & Pakistan on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 pm at the National Chamber Auditorium, No. 450, D.R. Wijewardena Mawatha, Colombo 10. High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Major General (R) Umar Farooq Burki, HI (M) will be the Special Guest Speaker and the session will be assisted by Commercial Counsellor.
The participants will get an opportunity to have a close dialogue with the High Commissioner of Pakistan.
The overall purpose of this meeting is to discuss on the current trade environment, investment opportunities/ services, policies and other important information with the view to promote and strengthen bilateral trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Betel leaves; smoked sheets of rubber; parts of electrical machinery and equipment; articles of stone, plaster, cement; wadding, felt & nonwovens; coconuts, fresh or dried; copra; fuel oil; articles of apparel and clothing accessories; desiccated coconut; crepe rubber; essential oils; special woven fabrics; iron and steel; natural rubber; other lead-acid accumulators; apparel; coconut (copra), palm kernel; other vegetable textile fibres; insulated wire, cable etc.
Sri Lanka’s Main Imports from Pakistan
Cotton; portland cement; pharmaceutical products; potatoes, fresh or chilled; knitted or crocheted fabrics; maize (corn); man-made staple fibres; vegetables onions, shallots, garlic, leeks etc.; plastics and articles thereof; glass and glassware; apparel; residues and waste from the food industries etc.
