Over a year, it is rumoured a large number of SJB MPs will defect to the government: So far, no one has: Do not spill your incapacity on Pohottuwa – Namal Rajapaksa I Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Namal Rajapaksa, the former minister of Pohottwa, spoke to the media today regarding a news published on social media that SJB  is ready to join with the President.

He said this.

We said that if the president calls the members of the Podujana Peramuna for political matters, the party leaders should be informed according to the correct method and inform them through the party. Because coalition politics is not about bringing members as each one wants. .I would like to say again I said first that I will not get a ministry, and it is only because the seniors did not go to the meetings and did not inform them according to the proper procedure.

SJB would like to work with the president, but it is because of the people of Pohottuwa that they are not coming to the government from the opposition.

No matter how many times we have said to strengthen the government by getting MPs from SJB. No matter how many times we have said that we don’t need ministries, take our ministries and give them to those who come from SJB from the opposition to strengthen the government, but no one has come for the past one year. We have our full blessing if SJB MPs come.

Recently they once said that 40 people from the opposition are coming, and again 20 people are coming. No one has come. If possible, give them even our position and take them from the opposition and don’t boast to strengthen the government. If our participation needed for meeting Instead of whispering them, inform us through the party in the proper way. It seems to me that no one is ever coming from SJB. I would like to say that you should not let your incompetence slip away because our deal is with the party and not with the president.
