The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and several other opposition parties have taken steps to submit a complaint to the United Nations Human Rights Commission over the impact on judicial independence caused by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s speech at the May Day rally.
A total of 24 opposition Members of Parliament, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, have signed the complaint.
