Opposition Mps, Including Sajith Premadasa, To File UN Complaint Over Anura Kumara Dissanayake Speech Impact On Judiciary

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and several other opposition parties have taken steps to submit a complaint to the United Nations Human Rights Commission over the impact on judicial independence caused by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s speech at the May Day rally.

A total of 24 opposition Members of Parliament, including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, have signed the complaint.
