Opposition Leader’s Office to Serve as Hub for Private Donor-Funded Post-Cyclone Reconstruction

The Office of the Leader of the Opposition will be transformed, effective today, into a central hub to initiate and coordinate post-cyclone reconstruction programs funded by private donors, with the aim of easing, to some extent, the hardships faced by Sri Lankans across the country.

From tomorrow onwards, the Opposition Leader’s Office will be converted to initiate and spearhead post-cyclone recovery programs via private donor funds, in order to alleviate to some extent the hardships suffered by the Sri Lankan people throughout the country.
