In the opening session of the Tenth Parliament today, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa addressed remarks made by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya concerning the National List.
During her speech, the Prime Minister criticized the opposition, stating that some political parties had yet to nominate their National List Members of Parliament.
In response, the Opposition Leader emphasized that the Prime Minister should share the same level of concern for the National List as other parties, particularly in addressing the nation’s pressing issues.
