Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa joined the Navam Maha Perahera at the Gangaramaya Temple in Hunupitiya, Colombo.
The Navam Maha Perahera, which showcases religious harmony, culture, and national heritage, took to the streets for its second day yesterday. The procession, which began on January 31st, coincided with the Navam Purapasaloswaka Poya Day and featured vibrant decorations highlighting a mix of local and international cultural elements.
At the invitation of the incumbent of Gangaramaya Temple, Most Venerable Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero, Opposition Leader Premadasa participated in the religious rituals, sought blessings, and witnessed the colorful Gangaramaya Perahera.
