This afternoon, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa visited the Iranian Embassy in Sri Lanka and held a meeting with the Iranian Ambassador to Sri Lanka.
During the meeting, Premadasa extended his condolences to the families and communities affected by the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, including in Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kuwait. He also expressed his hope for an end to the conflicts and for lasting peace to prevail across the region.
