Opposition Leader Exposes Alleged Corruption in Liquor Licensing: Raises Concerns for School Children’s Welfare

Under F. L. 4 licenses over 200 wine stores are ready to open, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa revealed today (19) in the Parliament further to this he said that 200 liquor store licenses are planned to be given under license 4 and 15 of them have already been given and it is reported that a ransom of 2 crores are to be taken for that. Also, the opposition leader said that 6 liquor production licenses have been granted and Excise Commissioner General Gunasiri has been re-appointed for this purpose.

The opposition leader said that he is asking for the sake of the 41 lakh school children of the country and that he will not lie under privileges and say what he is saying responsibly.
