Occasional Rain or Thundershowers Expected in Eastern, Uva Provinces, and Hambantota District Today (April 12th)

Today (12th) Eastern and Uva Provinces and Hambantota District may experience occasional rain or thundershowers. Sri Lanka Latest News

Most of the rest of the island will experience showers or thunderstorms after around 1.00 pm.

mm in some places in Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts. Heavy rains above 100 are possible.

Foggy conditions prevailed in some places in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Uva provinces and Galle and Matara districts in the morning.

People are also requested to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.

As the sun moves northward as seen, the sun is directly above the latitudes of Sri Lanka from 05th to 15th of April.

Today (12th) at 12:11 PM, the sun will rise over Vanchiankulam, Omanta, Ermadu and Thiriai.
