Not only the Cabinet placement, Duminda is likely to loose all three positions
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

It has been learned that the appointment of state ministers by the President was not done in accordance with the previous agreement with the SLFP group.

The previous agreement was that one cabinet minister post and 4 state minister posts will be given to the team coming from SLFP.

Accordingly, Mr. Duminda Dissanayake was ready to take oath as a cabinet minister, but this time he lost that opportunity.

It is reported that Mr. Duminda Dissanayake has spoken to the President and expressed his displeasure.

However, it is reported that Mr. Duminda Dissanayake is preparing to get a cabinet minister post from the government, Maithripala Sirisena wants to remove the same group including Duminda who took positions in the government from the party.

It is known that Mr. Sirisena is already doing the necessary work for that.

If that happens, it has been learned that Mr. Duminda Dissanayake will lose not only his cabinet ministership or state ministership, but also his SLFP membership.
