A special meeting between the Northern Tamil Political Parties and the Indian High Commissioner is scheduled for tomorrow (01).
The purpose of the discussion is to discuss the 13th constitutional amendment, which the President promised to deliver as a solution to the North & East issue.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Singh Modi and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickramasinghe had a lengthy discussion about the 13th constitutional amendment and how power should be delegated to the northeastern and eastern provinces.
Gopal Bagle, India’s High Commissioner, would take part in the discussions.
