Nomura Financial Company has warned that the Sri Lankan Rupee is among the seven currencies with the highest currency risk in the world.

Egypt, Romania, Sri Lanka, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Pakistan and Hungary are the countries that in the seven currencies list and Nomura Finance has warned that there is a high risk of a currency crisis in these countries.
Nomura Financial Company has taken into account eight factors, including a country’s foreign exchange, foreign reserves, and interest rates, to develop a model designed to determine whether a country’s currency crisis may occur.
