In addition to the parties and groups currently representing the group of MPs, discussions were held with former President Maithripala Sirisena and several ministers and Mr. Kumara Welgama he said further.
The MP also says that there will be discussions with several other such groups in the coming week.
Mr. Nimal Lanza further said that more than 40 independent members of parliament are already with the new alliance and the expectation is to increase that number to 50.
