New Cabinet takes oath in presence of President

Today, the interim government’s new Cabinet was officially announced.
Ali Sabri has been appointed Minister of External Affairs, and G. L. Peiris has been removed from the Cabinet this year.
The Cabinet of Ministers is being sworn in today, as shown below.

New minsters

1.Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena – Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils, and Local Government

  1. Douglas Devananda – Fisheries
  2. Bandula Gunawardena – Transport & Highways, and Media
  3. Keheliya Rambukwella – Health and Water Supply
  4. Mahinda Amaraweera – Agriculture, Wildlife, and Forest Conservations
  5. (Dr) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe – Justice, Prisons, and Constitutional Reforms
  6. Susil Premajayantha – Education
  7. Harin Fernando – Tourism and Lands
  8. Ramesh Pathirana – Plantations and Industries
  9. Prasanna Ranatunga – Urban Development and Housing
  10. Ali Sabry – External Affairs
  11. Vidura Wickramanayake – Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs
  12. Kanchana Wijesekera – Power and Energy
  13. Naseer Ahamed – Environment
  14. Roshan Ranasinghe – Sports & Youth Affairs, and Irrigation
  15. Manusha Nanayakkara – Labour and Foreign Employment
  16. Tiran Alles – Public Security
  17. Nalin Fernando – Trade, Commerce and Food Security
