Navin Dissanayaka and Ricky Gervais’s, tweet debate over jokes, free speech, and insults that is currently taking place in Sri Lanka I Sri Lanka Latest News
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Ricky Gervais, a world-renowned comedian, has intervened in the conversation about jokes, freedom of speech and insults that have come to the fore in Sri Lanka at the moment.

It’s a very nice intervention…!

Mr. Navin Dissanayake had said in a twitter message that freedom of speech does not mean that you can humiliate or hurt someone else, and Ricky Gervais interfered with Navin’s opinion…!

Ricky Gervais, intervening in Navin’s idea, brings out the contradiction in Navin’s idea from Navin himself.

It is not something that a son can do like this. We think that it can be done when a philosopher tries to make fun.

Naveen : Freedom of speech does not mean that you can insult or hurt others by your actions or what you say..!

Ricky: This idea of yours makes my heart melt..!
It really hurts.
Please delete your tweet..!

Naveen : Sorry for hurting your feelings friend..
But I can’t delete my tweet.
My tweet is my right to express my opinion..!

Ricky: Huh Huh Ha. . .you got caught…!

(Here Ricky Gervais has pointed out that Naveen has the same right to have an opinion as others.?
