It has been reported that Namal Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (Pohottuwa), was onboard the same flight as President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, who departed for the Maldives in the early hours of today.
According to sources, both individuals were seated next to each other during the journey.
While President Dissanayake is on an official visit to the Maldives, it is understood that Namal Rajapaksa is visiting the island nation for personal reasons.
They both traveled on SriLankan Airlines flight UL 101.
