The court has ordered that Mr. Dinesh Shafter’s blood samples and some local evidence discovered by the investigating officers at the crime scene be sent to the government’s forensic examiner for DNA testing.
This order was issued by Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya in response to a request from the Criminal Investigation Department.
