Murdered Shafter’s wife refutes Doctor’s statement! The things I didn’t say have been reported to the court! An affidavit from Shafter’s wife to the court!

The wife of the deceased director of Janashakti Insurance Group Mr. Dinesh Shafter submitted an affidavit today (04) in front of Colombo Additional Magistrate Mrs. Rajendra Jayasuriya stating that specialist psychiatrist Neil Fernando had reported to the court what she had not disclosed about his husband.

Dr. Neil Fernando, an expert psychiatrist, recorded her statements regarding her husband, stating that the doctor had included things that she had not said in his report and presented it to the court and accordingly, it contained false facts about Mr. Dinesh Shafter, who was the director of the Jana Shakti Group. Mrs. Tania Furman Shafter, the wife, has informed the court in that affidavit.

This affidavit was submitted to the court by President’s counsel Mr. Anuja Premaratne who advocated for the rights of the family of Mr. Dinesh Shafter who died.
