The party decided to appoint former Member of Parliament Mr Mujibur Rahman for the position of National List Member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya Party, which was vacant due to the abolition of the position of Member of Parliament of Mrs Diana Gamage.
Accordingly, the Election Commission published the gazette notice containing that name yesterday (09).
The Supreme Court declared that Mrs. Diana Gamage has no legal qualification to sit in the Parliament of this country.
