According to the Daily Mirror, the Civil Aviation Authority covered the cost of using the airport’s Gold Route terminal as well as entertainment expenses during Mr. Basil Rajapaksa’s visit to Sri Lanka.
This was also stated in Parliament by MP Mujibur Rahman, who cited the Daily Mirror newspaper.
Today, D.V. Chanaka blamed MP Mujibur Rahman, saying it was completely false. MP Rahman said he told a story published by the Daily Mirror newspaper, and if necessary, he can reveal who owns the newspaper.
