The MP confirmed that he is currently in Geneva and is providing testimony before the IPU committee.

According to MP Archuna, his complaint includes allegations that the current Speaker prevented him from speaking in Parliament for 77 days, disabled his microphone, and committed other violations of his parliamentary privileges. He noted that he has submitted evidence in relation to these matters.

Furthermore, he stated that he also presented evidence to the IPU about several additional issues, including the removal of his security and what he describes as a violation of his privileges when he was summoned to the CID over information he disclosed in Parliament concerning the Container 323 incident.

He further added that the Inter-Parliamentary Union is expected to obtain testimony from other relevant parties in the near future regarding the matters he has raised.
