Mount Lavinia Police Headquarters Inspector H.T.M. Thushara has been transferred with immediate effect, according to the Police Media Division.
The Police Media Division announced that Inspector Thushara has been reassigned from his current post to general duties in the Medical Services Division.
Police further stated that the transfer is connected to a special investigation regarding the arrest of a police officer following a recent incident near the Mount Lavinia Court Complex, involving an altercation between a lawyer and a police officer.
