Attorney at law Mr. Upul Jayasuriya pointed out that there are reports that Finance Ministry Secretary Mr. Mahinda Siriwardena has informed the Election Commission that he cannot provide money for the election, and if it is true, there is a possibility of filing a case against him under the charge of contempt of court.
Attending a press conference held today, he said that if he is found guilty in any case, the President will not be able to grant a pardon and release him.
