In addition to this, the Minister of Health also instructed the officials to import only registered medicines into Sri Lanka from now on.
The Minister of Health also advised the officials that in case of emergency where there are no registered drugs, they should be imported into Sri Lanka only with the approval of the National Drug Prescribing Authority.
