The ministry states that 70,000 goats will be distributed to low-income families in five years.
The program started today (09) in Ranna, Wadigala area with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Mahinda Amaraweera.
Here, each family will have three goats, and for the 07 agricultural entrepreneurship villages established in Hambantota district, 10 families will be selected from each village and goats will be distributed, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.
