The High Court of Bangladesh has questioned the reasons for not requesting the ICC to remove Waka Younis, a former Pakistani cricketer who is working as a commentator in the World Cup. Sri Lanka Latest News

Foreign media also reported that the Bangladesh Cricket Board and its chairman have been given a period of 10 days to present their facts in this regard.

The High Court has given this order after hearing a writ petition filed in the court against the criticism of Bangladesh cricket team and Bangladesh team captain Shakib by match commentators regarding the controversial dismissal of Mathews.

Rahman Khan, a lawyer in Sri Lanka, has filed the petition against the criticism of Shakib’s request, which was in the commentary booth with former Sri Lankan cricketer Russell Arnold, saying that it was not the behaviour of a sportsman.

Foreign media further reports that this order has been given by judges Mustafa Zaman Islam and Md Abdullah who heard it.
