The election commission says that the date of the local government election will be announced on March 03.
The Election Commission met today (24) in the morning to take a decision regarding the holding of the local government polls on March 9 and decided that.
Accordingly, the Election Commission has further decided that due to matters arising out of the Commission’s control, the local government polls scheduled to be held on March 09 will not be held on that day.
