Many Foreign Observer Groups Arrive in Sri Lanka to Monitor Presidential Election | Sri Lanka Latest News

Mr. Rohana Hettiarachchi, Executive Director of PAFFREL, told ‘Mawrata’ that an international election observation team from the Commonwealth has come to Sri Lanka to conduct a preliminary study on the planning of the upcoming presidential election. (Sri Lanka Latest News)

The delegation has met and held discussions with the officials of the Pafrel organization and is going to send a report to the foreign center where they are represented about the current political situation related to the presidential election heat.

Meanwhile, Mr. Hettiarachchi said that three more international election observation teams are also scheduled to visit Sri Lanka.

Mr. Rohana Hettiarachchi mentioned that three political parties that are ready to compete in the presidential election have accepted the manifesto prepared by PAFFREL organization and have agreed to act as stated in it.
